![]() ![]() Josh: “we’ve been told that if we go on holiday in Greece, to take lots and lots of money with us….to rub it in?” Josh: “no one was expecting THAT reaction, were they?”ĭara suggests the Greeks cite ownership of things they invented but never took credit for, “like democracy, triangles and gays.” THAT’s the one that breaks the camel’s back? It is a rare Milton joke that gets groans, which in turn gets LAUGHS from the panel. Milton: “apparently the Greek government have admitted that living in their past is their Achilles heel.” Hugh does mention a similar ‘Brixit’, “it sounds like a cheap kind of Lego, or what the Greek prime minister does every time he meets Angela Merkel.” Hugh: “what will the motto be for the Qatar World Cup?”Īnd then Hugh, who’s killing it here: “what are the three main aisles in a Bolivian Waitrose?”ĭara steers them towards the correct answerĮd: “you know that tattoo you got that you think says ‘peace, love and harmony’…?”Įd: “this thing of just referring to the Greek exit as Grexit, it’s just like…are you in that much of a hurry that you couldn’t say a third syllable?” Zoe: “is it what three things are we being paid in this evening?”ĭara, smirking: “yeah, all together in one big bucket.” Hugh: “what are the three characters called on a packet of Colombian Rice Krispies?” You can tell whenever they do a specific prompt for this round that it’s gonna lead to good stuff Milton: “is it what, in The Sound of Music, are the Von Trapp family’s REAL favorite things?” Josh: “is it what three things are keeping Keith Richards alive?” Hugh, of course: “is it what three things might a greek keep in a chicken?”Įd: “is it what do gangsters play instead of rock-paper-scissors?” If This is the Answer: World News Petrol, Money and Drugs Kind of odd.ĭara noticeably has a swollen right eye he can barely see out of this show. It’s three guests who’ve been on since before Frankie left, Ed, Milton and Zoe Lyons, Josh Widdicombe in there to panel-connect, and Matt Forde in his second and last appearance. What’s kind of surprising about this show is that it pulls 4 guests that sort of exist outside of the main core rep company during these series. ![]() Considering what would happen in S15, it’s basically an omen. So we’d get a few instances this series of there being five open regular seats, and this is the first of those. You can sort of see it this series, he’s a lot looser, less into the show, trying to look for a way out. After all, he doesn’t even do sets on MTW anymore. And this is around the point where Andy begins to prioritize stand-up shows over doing MTW. In 2015, Andy Parsons’ touring dates would become even more expansive than before, and would eventually result in bookings that would coincide with Mock the Week tapings. ![]()
